Membership of OIAC is drawn from financial management with current experience in the UK oil and gas industry; users of financial statements, including shareholders; analysts and bankers; accountants in professional practice; and the academic community.
It is considered appropriate that, at any one time, 50% of the committee should be drawn from financial management in the oil and gas industry. It is also considered desirable that the balance of the committee should contain at least two users of financial statements, two accountants in professional practice and one member of the academic community.
